Dear Neighbors:

Thank you for your involvement in helping to create the plan for the improvement of Sinaloa Golf Course. We are happy so many of you were able to join our last meeting to learn the details of the newly revised park plan. All of your suggestions have been shared with the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District.

As you may be aware, the revised plan is the result of your active input and quality suggestions, and the District’s desire to create a quality park that the entire community can enjoy.

The new plan combines the nine-hole golf course with miniature golf, beautiful waterways and bridges, lush landscaping and open areas, a children’s playground with reservable picnic areas, and a spacious community room.

For those of you who were unable to attend the meeting, information on the plan can be found online at www.sinaloapark.com by selecting the “plan comparison” link. While visiting the Website, we invite you to leave your comments about the plan and take part in our periodic online surveys to help us improve the park even more. In addition, you can always reach a project representative by calling 210-9288.

The District is now in the process of obtaining data from traffic, noise and parking studies, operational and staffing plans, environmental studies, etc. This information will allow the District to answer many of the questions you have raised in the last and previous meetings. The District anticipates these studies will be complete within the next 60 to 75 days. Once this information is available, the District plans to continue our dialog with adjacent neighbors and the community as a whole. Please make sure to check the Website periodically to be kept up to date on any future meetings.

We have truly appreciated your input and look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Thank you to everyone who attended the neighborhood meetings in September. We have appreciated all the feedback, and have shared your comments with the rest of the project team. As a result of our community relations efforts to date and other factors, we are now working to revise the plan based on the public input. Once we have the details of the plan completed, we will be scheduling another round of community meetings.
